Describing People: Sketch the thieves


 Some thieves have been stealing items from your classroom. Some students saw them. Listen as your teacher reads the descriptions and draw the three thieves.

Describing people: Features


We are going to learn how to describe people.
We use the verb 'to be' to describe:
  • height
I am tall.
  • body build:
She is slim.
  • age:
He is old.
Describe the people. You can use these adjectives: tall, short, young, old, slim, medium.

Facial features:

We use 'has got' and 'have got' to describe hair colour, hair length and facial features.
Facial Features are eyes, nose, eyebrows, ears, mouth, lips and chin. 
Vocabulary to describe people's features

Super Heroes:

Choose one of the super heroes. Tell me about your favourite super hero. 
For example: Batman (Bruce Wayne) is one of my favourite super heroes. First, he protects the citizens (people) of Gotham City. For example, the Joker often tries to destroy the city but Batman defeats him and saves the people. Secondly, he is selfless because he spends his nights fighting bad people rather than having a good night's sleep. Above all, he is my favourite hero because even though he does not have any powers, he is brave.
